TACO (Tenth Anniversary Celebration of Operetta)
On November 19th 2016, the opera company celebrated their
tenth anniversary with an unusual performance. It was partly
concert, and partly staged, and filled with costume and scene
changes, and selections from all of the operas we have
performed. The cast was made up of current Party members
and a couple new faces, although the hope had been for
company alumni to return for this one performance. George
Harnish was the emcee for the event, introducing operas,
songs, characters, and singers, as well as providing history
of the company. Sue Lewis gave the toast at intermission. As
always, we performed at the Mendelssohn PAC.
